Job Purpose

The Group Service Manager is responsible for meeting our revenue goals in group service accounts while expanding our relationships with other groups and organizations.

Essential Job Results

As Group Service Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Manage group service accounts and develop potential new group accounts, such as religious organizations, non-profit organizations and corporations.
  • Conduct meetings or conference calls including site visits with a potential client. Prepare paperwork and close the contract
  • Meet with the group leader or event organizer to ensure a smooth check-in process and the proper execution of the contract.
  • Conduct follow-up communication to identify future group needs. Solicit feedback, identify issues and recommend enhancements to products or services.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships.
  • Budget management and revenue reporting.


Skill Requirements

Considered candidates should possess:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience in group sales in hospitality industry. Experience of working with spiritual groups would receive favorable consideration
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent client service ethics
  • Flexibility in work hours including weekends and evenings
  • May travel up to 20% of the time.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience. Incentives will apply to contracts exceeding a marginal revenue per month
