Tao is the origin and principle of Life and the Universe, from an infinitesimal particle to the entire universe. Tao Fellowship is a gathering of people who seek to live according to the principle of Tao. The most concrete expression of Tao is Love for humanity and Love for the earth. Tao Fellowship was founded to facilitate and implement this ideal.

Water, while taking various forms gas, liquid, or solid depending on physical conditions, remains unchanged in its essence. Like water, everything changes its form, but the essential principle and origin never changes.

Human beings, like water, may appear to have diverse forms, characters, and ideals, but our true essence and origin are the same. This is why peace is possible and ultimately inevitable. When we acknowledge the essential unity in seeming diversity, when we realize that all human beings are connected, it is no longer comfortable to live solely for the pursuit of individual goals, and it becomes so natural to desire to heal and benefit others. Tao Fellowship was founded for and has been devoted to the sharing of this simple truth.
